“#ChillHour with Brancott Estate Wines and My Girls is brought to you by Mom Central Consulting and Brancott Estate Wines. I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Brancott Estate Wines. I received a gift card to purchase party supplies to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
A Girl’s Night In doesn’t happen often these days, let alone with great wine and hot guys. My husband is deployed to Afghanistan and between taking care of my 9 year old, preparing for an exchange student and Crossfit I’m lucky I have time to breathe. So, I was thrilled to watch The Bachelorette on ABC with the girls and drink Brancott Estate Wine. We actually enjoyed not one, not two, but three bottles of wine from Brancott Estate.

2009 Savignon Blanc, 2007 Pinot Noir, and 2011 Savignon Blanc from Brancott Estate
Brancott Estate wines are from the lovely Marlborough region of New Zealand. Brancott Estate has been producing their Sauvignon Blanc in the Marlborough region for over 30 years. In 1979, the first Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc vintage was released, and launched a phenomenon, which not only placed New Zealand firmly on the international wine map, but became the shining example of the quality of wine that can be produced from the land.

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum Celebrate Brancott Estate Chill Hour
When the girls learned that we would be enjoying the same wine that Bacherlorette Winner Ashley Hebert and her fiance J.P. Rosenbaum enjoyed, they were excited. We did a traditional platter of cheese, meats, crackers and grapes for our spread to enjoy while watching the show. We had never tried Brancott Estate Wines before. Since we all like different types of wine this was a good assortment and we all found something we liked.

Reaction to all the girls from last season coming in to give her advice during The Bachelorette on ABC.

The Pinot Noir by Brancott Estate has aromas of ripe, red cherry accentuated with savoury and spice highlights, the style of this wine is typical of fruit-driven Pinot Noir originating from their premium Marlborough vineyards. It has a sweet, velvet approach, displaying ripe red stone fruits, subtle spice, silky tannins and good length providing a balance of structure and concentration.
Some of the girls preferred the white wine and some preferred the red wine. These definitely have a unique taste to what I was used to, but they were pretty good overall. It was a great night with the girls watching The Bacherlorette on ABC and just enjoying some stress free time. Thank you ladies for coming over and hanging out with me. Thank you Brancott Estate and Mom Central Consulting for allowing this military wife to have a break from the hustle and bustle of being a single wife and single mom until 2014.
