It’s officially fall and Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park is guaranteed to bring your family lots of fun at Camp Spooky. Celebrating Halloween will be extra fun and special since my husband is home from Afghanistan temporarily. Celebrating it at tadbit early on Sunday means that he’ll get to celebrate with my son, my other children who aren’t my children, and me!!! Loads of fun for the entire family that isn’t overly scary, gruesome or horrific. Camp Spooky is all about cheer and no fear! :)
Knott’s Berry Farm is a historical theme park located in Orange County and they always have a ton of fun activities at Camp Spooky every year. Everyone is excited about the fun and festivities that we’ll be taking part in on Sunday. My son will probably be Darth Vader and I’m not sure what Jasmine and David will dress up as actually.
During the month of October on the weekends, Knott’s Berry Farm would love for you and your family to join in on all of the Halloween Fun at Camp Spooky during the day. Halloween is all about cheer and no fear and there are shows, activities and lots of trick-or-treating for kids from the age of 3 to 11. Although kids that are older enjoy the festivities too.
Children are encouraged to dress up and participate in all of the fun activities at Camp Spooky. Here are just a few of the key activities you and your children will not won’t to miss out on.
- Snoopy’s Costume Contest - show off their costume as they join cheerful monsters and Peanuts characters in a parade
- Charlie Brown’s Spooktacular Show - a theater performance of classic Halloween tunes
- Monster Factory - a fun, interactive maze where kids make their own scary creations
- Trick-or-Treating at five Camp Spooky locations
- Creepy Crawly Critter Cave - Knott’s park naturalist will show the kids some slithery, slimy, creepy, crawly critters
- Scary Stories at the Lodge - master story tellers will spin crazy, creepy and silly stories to entertain the kids
- Kooky Cookie Painting - decorate and devour a delicious cookie (there is a small fee to do this one)

Camp Spooky is included with regular park admission to Knott’s Berry Farm’s Theme Park (Online ticket prices are $29.99/$39.99) and the hours of operation at the park are from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.
